Picture Update
My sister was at Best Buy one night and picked this up for me. I did pay her back, but that reminds me, she still owes me money. Anyways, it’s a lot of fun and is really accurate. My balance sucks.
Over the 4th of July weekend, Mr. Charming and I decided we would head over to Leavenworth. We did some hiking and tubed the Icicle River (there is a reason they call it the Icicle River). The entrance to our Bed and Breakfast. We have been there 3 times and love it.
The garden my Dad planted for me is finally in season. We have been enjoying the raspberries and blueberries so far (especially since they are so expensive in the stores). The corn is almost ready and the carrots and onions are getting bigger.
We also had our annual BBQ and went to a wedding down in Vancouver. It was SO hot the weekend of the wedding and every place we went either had no A/C or it was broken. I don’t remember the last time I sweated that much. My next update in pictures will be about our weekend to Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands with my family.

Mario Kart and Wii Fit
Last weekend while Mr. Charming was in Las Vegas, he picked up Mario Kart for the Wii and 3 extra wheels. This is one of the main reasons we got the Wii as I LOVE racing games and actually find that every once in awhile, I can beat Mr. Charming at it. I have to say the wheel takes some getting use to as I tended to over correct. I found the easiest combo to be the nunchuck with Wii remote. It’s a really fun game to play I have to say.
I’m looking forward to Wii Fit which is due out the middle of May. I’m hoping it will get me through the long winter months when I don’t feel like going to the gym even though I should. Speaking of the gym, I really need to get my lazy butt back in the swing of things. I have to look sexy when Mr. Charming gets back (he already thinks I am, but ladies you know how that goes)

Lots of games; video games that is
Last night Mr. Charming (he agreed on the name) and I beat Mario Party 8 for the Wii. He took out Bowser in the final round with a dead battery Wiimote so it was a harder fight than it should have been. I told him he would be good at killing Bowser since he is so good at Xbox LIVE playing Halo 3. Mr. Charming has an enthusiasm (not an obsession) for video game systems. The Charming house hold has the following:

Plus most of the games, remotes, and accessories that come with each. The funny thing is we have no kids so most of the older consoles (except the Wii and 360) are actually out to play with. Neither of us had any of these consoles growing up so I guess we are making up for lost time.
With that, I think it’s time for me to drag him to the mall…
